hardware Re-allocating the Windows Media Player Ripping Folder

Hey guys and girles

Just managed to plonk all my music onto a portable hard drive and want to use this as my ripping folder in the future for Windows Media Player, however for some reason it's stating that I do not have permission (actual message is "The selected folder is not available. Verify that you have the correct permissions to add files to the folder")

Now, I've been through the properties on the hard drive and I've ticked all the boxes for complete access but it still won't play ball

Anyone else tried this and failed?
