Question Is it possible to create my own professional looking website...

... with video, with absolutely, and I can't stress the absolutely bit enough, no website creation experience whatsoever?

I'm not concerned about publishing anything on the web just yet, I only want to know if there are any ways to develop a site without having to spend dozens of hours of spare time, which I simply don't have btw, learning code.

I mean I would literally have to start from scratch if I had to learn code, and i'm not a techie person anyway.

Sorry i'm rambling on a bit, any suggestions?

dm is the perfect person to ask.

From what we've seen of the fine job dm does, expect to spend a lot of time on it.

You can use a template with ease, just depends on what all you want to do with it really. Most of the WYSIWYG editors will guide you through the creation pretty simply.

I would enjoy spending a lot of time on developing content, it's the technical stuff that I can't get my head around.

In regards to creating a website, with little or no coding knowledge
Can it be done?? YES!! Can it be done well? NO?

There are plenty of hosting providers that will give you Built in scripts, but when it comes to tweaking it to look how you want. Ur going to need at least some idea as to what to touch

Fact is the best sites have nothing to do with features or design, its all about the content. Get that right and u can have the worst bug ridden ugly site on the net. People will still come looking. So in regards to templates don't worry to much.. There is plenty of free ones around, but would take some know how to make them your own

What you really have to consider, is WHY do you want to put yet another site onto the net? Do you have something new or original to offer? Or our you going to recycle other peoples stuff? (fine one to talk lol)

If your into the idea because you want to make money, DON'T BOTHER unless you have something to sell.. Or some radical new concept

If your into the idea for the E-fame or just to share your "whatever the sites based around" with the world. Your probably better off contributing to other sites.

I do believe I have something genuinely unique to put on the web, not with the explicit intention of making any money, but that may come later if the site looks professional and people enjoy what I have to offer, which I believe they will.

I have no interest in E-fame, but I believe I can at least teach people how to make money out of a common online activity, for free, whilst hopefully encouraging them to use some affiliate links (nothing dodgy) to pay for my time and effort and maybe earn a little profit on top of that.

BTW, are you the DM behind the 'totally' websites? If so, good work. In fact this site and that one are the only two I visit on a regular basis. Good work fella, thanks for the reply and the sites.
