|  The File Or Directory Is Corrupted & Unreadable  I am getting this message on my hdd, plz advise ...what I can do now to save this folder ..??

| This sounds bad... hopefully your HD is not giving up, could be some damaged sectors. If the defrag wont help, you could always try some data recovery tools...

| i tried check disk, NOW the complete FOLDER is removed by the system,...I made a search, all files are found & are playable well but the system has put them in a separate folder (HIDDEN) called found.000.

| OK, that's not so bad. You should run a hard disk life check program though because there's a good chance your HDD is going to go bust sometime soon.

| if you were able to find them, just move them to another folder either through windows explorer or through the DOS prompt

| AFTER retrieving his stuff I meant, I wouldn't be too keen on storing my stuff on a drive that might crap out anytime soon.
