| Hello, I have game files as ISO images.Typically I can mount and install the game by either using Daemon for the installation or using Imgburn to write the image to DVD, creating a game install disc. I now have a game comprised of 2 ISO's.I've tried Imgburn, Roxio, Daemon to either: make an install disc or mount the image. It will not work.I tried using the 'Build' Function in Imgburn with the hope of combining the 2 ISO's into 1 file and working with it that way. That didn't work. Do I need to somehow get the 2 ISO's to become 1 in order for the game to be installed? Every time we get halfway thru the install and it asks to 'insert disk 2'. I tried to unmount image 1 and then try image 2...the install just stops at that point. When both ISO's are copied to DVD as data files same thing occurs. When the game came out it was indeed on 2 CD's...but I've never run into this problem before by either method I've described above. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks

| well two things daemon tools after 4.0 has spyware in it. thought i should point that out. other then that, using two virtual drives and mounting both images is all i can think of. alcohol 120%? i dont know if daemon tools can run multiple virtual drives.

| No clue, I haven't ever run into that. I would think though that if the original game was 2 disks you should in theory be able to burn the images directly onto two separate disks and it should be exact copies of the originals.... |

| http://www.poweriso.com/ Power ISO, lets you mount multiple Virtual Drives at the same time. It will probably do the trick

You can do 3 different things with a rar'ed ISO disc image of a game. 1.you can copy the rar file as is, for safekeeping. 2.you can mount the image using a software program like daemon, alcohol 120, with the intent of installing the game using the ISO image. 3.you can burn a game install disc when you write the image to DVD. This one kept asking for disc 2, we thought naturally it had to be the second ISO.Nothing would work...burning both images to one disc, burning two separate disks...mounting thru daemon to install....

Wanna know what the problem was? You had to first extract some files out of the #1 ISO.Then you installed disc image 1 using the regular methods described above. When you got to the error, you had to choose 'cancel' from the dialogue presented and 'not rollback changes'....then open the second rar'ed ISO and just copy the files from that into the newly created MAIN game folder from the first ISO partial install.

| Actually it was a stellar find for my friend who I've written about in other threads He doesn't have much pc experience and has this knack for finding good working copies of games via torrents. That's why I persevered with this particular find.It was Call of Duty 1...certainly not state of the art compared to what's out there now but the price was right and we got it to run
