I've noticed a lot of people complaining that they've been having this problem recently. I agree with DH. Lance broke the internet.

Please post your Browsers, add-ons, does an ad try to pop up etc. We really can't help without more info.

i think its the advertising in the NSFW section. sometimes my page doesnt want to load when the ad is supposed to come on. its the same as those IV ads wher you get the option to skip this ad

It is related to the advertising from cpxinteractive as far as I can tell. It appears to be the only common factor that is causing this for me in FF3 (OS X, XP, and Vista), Safari, Chrome, and in Opera. It took a while to narrow it down a bit, but by blocking the ads from cpx it seemed to have fixed the issue entirely for me. Possibly could be related to the flash advert attempting to improperly utilize a "flash cookie" file for tracking purposes. Just my two cents from my corner of the internet.

I had a similar problem with adbrite. Some of the DIV tags would be screwed up in the ads and create areas in the browser page that acted as "invisible" links. So whenever I clicked on something I would end up back at the forum mainpage. Once I started blocking ads, it all went away.
