| OK, this is weird. Wherever I go, animated gifs aren't working for me. I just get a static image of the first frame. It's strange, but it doesn't seem to totally apply here. My own avatar still works OK, and I can see the animations in other people's avatars. However, I've viewed a couple of posts where an image that is clearly meant to be an animation does nothing. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

| If you are using IE: ![]() It would also be helpful if you updated your Java Runtime Environment: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp If you're using Firefox enter about:config into your address bar, locate image.animation_mode and ensure that the value is set to normal.
