'm running the sneak peek right now so far not that bad just need the addons to catch up lol

i give them time to let the crackers and script kiddies to figure out the holes, so Mozilla can fix it.

but will definitely be checking it out eventually.

Yeah, I tried it but too many extension not working hopefully most will be sorted on Tuesday.

Every browser has security flaws in, yes the one you are using now, it's how fast they fix 'em that counts. You not read the link above about the security improvements. FF3 is not a new browser it's a major improvement on version 2.

i understand that driverby.

but major bugs and problems and security flaw usually dont show up until the software his mainstream.

and this had been proven throughout history of software releases.

alpha and beta testing does wonders, but it isnt worldwide and is tested on limited hardware.

I'm curious what it will be like. Guess I'llgo and get it right away. How fitting that it shall be launched on our former national holiday.

i always wait a few months before i get it. i still havnt upgraed to AVG8 and i didnt get my current version of firefox untill November last year.

I tried the Beta version a while back, seems pretty good

The only problem was that some of the add-ons we'rent compatible just yet......

they have been testing it for months so i don't expect much bugs in it to be honest (i got version 2 the day it was launch with no problem at all)so i WILL get it the 17th,and help them achieve a world record

I tried the beta, and was disappointed bc the add-ons didn't work. Maybe when the add-ons have been updated I will install it.

Add-ons seem to be the major drawback. I'll download it but will probably wait a while to install it. I also use MozBackup... an excellent free program that will backup all of your Mozilla / FF settings, cookies, add-ons, etc... and am wondering if it will work with the new version, too.

I installed beta 3 a month ago and quite a few extensions didn't work no biggie just uninstalled and put version 2 back with no problems, profile was not touched. I'll do the same on Tuesday if there are a lot of extensions broke.
