It looks like it may be an ASF file. It's possible that it may be coded somehow. I used Lupas Rename (which can be found in the Multiple Uploader Tutorial) to change the extension, but it won't play.

If a solution is found, I'll let you know.

Indeed -- no big whoop -- one of those 'inquiring minds' things

I've torn into several layers of the site code to find the source -- seems like it generates a new dynamic link with every run. Actually a very good security job!

Ironically, the vid is, indeed, in the Temp Int Files, as expected. But, as you point out, their security is very good!

Yes, videodownloader is limited to certain sites. Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with all the plugins for FF.

An interesting solution is to have both IE and FF installed. I have both, and use FF as my default. Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. IE7 is really pretty good, and it's cache is easy access.

When I'm on AOL, it uses IE as the default.

I watched your video on IE, and sure enough, it was in the Temporary Internet Files, as an FLV file. I copied it to a permanent folder, renamed it, and it works just fine. Looks like a funloving group!

So basically, when I can't download a video from FF, I watch it on IE, and get it from the IE cache.

You might want to try it.

Save a lot of time and effort if your using Firefox, Video Ook extension, one button and it downloads , you dont even need to watch it all the way through once its started running

I've installed\tried any number of these FF extensions and they never seem to work for the sites that I want them to work on. Bit irritating.

Just snagged the P.A.N.I.C.S. eps from the F.E.A.R. site using the IE method though.

unfortunately, I get a huge, mustard yellow page with the flash movie off to the right..in a tiny freakin' box.

I can download the actual files as WMV from the folks who made them, I just thought it was funny that I ended up with a movie on a hot dog page.

Click on Videos
Under "Panics", click on 1 2 3 4 or 5 and the vid will launch.

I figured out something cool last night while trying to find a song for someone. Using the VLC media player, i managed to rip the stream from an artists official website and save the song on my pc. Now, i dunno if this is something new or if im just a thicko

If it would be helpful i could write a Tutorial for ya`s. Let me know

it's easy to get into FF cache. in the address bar type "about:cache" - without the quotes of course. you can see the directory path, as well as click a link to see the entrys. to actually get there, you'll have to set windows options to be able to see hidden folders. if this takes more than 5 min call yourself a noob and start googling.

i usually use opera when browsing for adult material - it's much more secure. to get to the cache in opera, type "opera:about" - again, without the quotes. OR go to help and click about opera at the bottom of the list. 2 diff methods, same result. anyway, you will see the directory path you want on the page that comes up. i like operas cache better because it usually shows the file extension. flv files show a ".tmp" simply copy/paste them where ever and rename.

easy, easy, easy!
