does RS premium expire over time? I registered for premium a few months ago, but no it's no good now. Do you actually have to constantly upload and have others download these uploads for the premium to remain in good standing? If so, why does everyone use RS....i guess cuz there's no google file hosting out there?

For some reason, if I click on a rapidsahre link or even try to get on the RS hompage, my browser just times out. This has been going on for a full day now. Any Ideas guys? ta

I've been having the same problem with both firefox and IE for the last couple of days

Yep i have had no RS share access all day and frankly its pissing me of now!

Though I have been having similar non connection experiences today, I have just interfaced to Rapidshare without any problems (at about the time of Will10's post!)

Perhaps it's purely a question of server overload

Followed a trick on here and did manage to load a page, however have made 3 attempts to create a 48 hour premium profile all of which timed out AFTER i paid-end result wasted money and no RS logins grrrr

Really do despise RS maybe its just me but i have never had issues with Megaupload and really dont understand why RS is so popular. Free download limit waiting times are a joke- just downloaded a 1.2 meg file and have to wait 102 minutes before i can download again

Oh well

did work briefly last night but its off again now. Did read somthing a while back about ISPs shaping traffic at busy times away from p2p etc. Anyone on BT broadband by any chance?

Rapidshare does this from time to time nothing to do with BT they don't traffic shape. Oh, what's 'interfaced to Rapidshare' ?

That changing the links to https thing does work though I'm happy to say, even if its a bit annoying.
