I like Couture, but he's getting old.

Yeah, he's like 46 right? Pretty old for a fighter. Really impressive to be this good, still.

9:10 in, on second view, it doesn't seem like those hammers are hurting him too much. Im surprised they stopped the fight

Yea I agree, but in Randy's defense, he didn't even want this fight. He hadn't been in the ring since the Gonzaga fight and wasn't really prepared. He took this fight to get out of his UFC contract so he could move to another organization and fight Fedor.

I'm not saying I could take it, I'm just saying he could take it, and maybe the ref could have let it go longer.

He could not defend himself at all so the ref HAD to stop it.

He was rolling over, and had the Brocks hand pretty tight, the hits were like 1-2 inches away. But, he was probably rocked from the initial knee

the knee kick AND the 20ish punches forced the ref to stop it (It took him a good minute to minute to get back on his feet too)

Frank Mir beat the crap out of Nogueira tonight on UFC 92 for the interim HW title
and now it'll be a rematch between him & Lesnar for the undisputed HW title.
