Best back?.. Haha... not quite. I've watched this guy all thru college. Very good back. Not great.

What weakness? Because The Pats didn't blow them out? They didn't blow out The Colts either. They still won these games. Didn't look that weak to me. When AJ Feeley passes down the field, that is nothing more than the angels watching over him and giving a gift.

Make no mistake, by weakness, I don't mean the Pats aren't an outstanding team, they're a good bet to have a perfect season!

Rather, the Eagles showed defensive schemes that were effective against the Patriot passing game, and demonstrated some decent ideas to open parts of the Patriot defense.

If Philly had been a stronger team, they might have pulled off the upset of the year!

By that same token, New England will be analyzing that game very closely, and I'm sure will find ways to correct the things the Eagles took advantage of.

Philly is an average team with an average offense. And with a back up QB. They just had a good night. Now if the score were to have been say, 13-3, that would have made more sense since the Eagles are supposed to be a defensive team. I do not see weakness in the Pats. Maybe running back. And that could be just because they do not run alot at this time.

One specific item Philly took advantage of, is Brady's increasing use of Randy Moss. Moss has become Brady's go-to guy, this year. They covered Moss like a blanket, and forced Brady to use his other receivers more.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it forced NE to change-up it's passing schemes, which slowed down and stopped some of their drives.

And while Moss is a shoo-in for the Hall Of Fame, and having an outstanding year, the other Patriot receivers are all very, very good, too, and came through in the crunch.

Huh? Do you watch them play? Wes Welker has more receptions than Moss. So they covered Moss. That opened up other receivers. That is how it works. No exposure there. Brady passed for 380 yards. Not too bad with Moss doubled all night eh?

Awesome coaching job by Shanahan again...hey, how about when we punt we kick it right to Hester? I think our horrible special teams will be able to stop him!

Moss vs Welker? Okay, let's look at the WR stats, after 11 games.

Receptions: Moss 71, Welker 81, Stallworth 37

Yards: Moss 1095, Welker 878, Stallworth 563

Ave Yds/Catch: Moss 15.4, Welker 10.8, Stallworth 15.2

Long: Moss 55, Welker 42, Stallworth 69

Touchdowns: Moss 16, Welker 7, Stallworth 3

With Gaffney, Washington, and Jackson all having fewer numbers.

Yes, Welker has 10 more catches than Moss, but Moss outstrips him in every other statistic!

Brady has thrown 39 TD passes, 16 to Randy Moss, 16 to all the other wide receivers combined, and 7 to other players.

Almost half of Brady's TD passes have gone to Randy Moss! I call that a go-to guy!

Take Moss out of the game, and the passing attack is significantly different, as Philadelphia showed!

do you think they dont run a lot because with Brady and all their receivers they don't have to, or do they think their running game is a flaw so they purposely stay away from it? i keep wondering that but i dont think an answer will appear until someone manages to shut down their passing and force them to run, if that ever happens

Who knows. They have had injuries at RB. The passing attack is there. have no idea what the running game can be. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Too bad most people will not get to see the game. It is an NFL Network game I think. Many cable areas will not carry that.

You're kidding? I have to pay extra for the stupid NFL Network and I don't have that subscription.

Let's not forget that the league wants NE to go perfect. There were a lot of questionable ball placements last night and also a touchdown that never crossed the plane.

Hester is a monster. Was it 10 kick/punt returns in 27 games?

Hester is a Cane! It's all about the "U"!

The Cowboys/Packers game is a Thursday night game at 8:15 (NFLN) Just looked it up to be sure.

What a screw up.
