They're no worse than Eagles fans...I forget which Cowboy it was that got hurt during a game at the Vet (I think it was Irvin, but don't quote me) and he was hurt pretty bad...as he lay there on the turf, the fans were cheering...it was classless and disgraceful....

Philly fans are rough. They once kicked Santa Clause's ass in the stands. But Jet fans are just dickwads,.. period. The ones down here usually get ass whipped in the bars from time to time when they start running their pieholes.

The Patriots may have been caught cheating. Coach Belichick spoke with Goodell. Nothing is really confirmed yet because it is still under investigation. If it's true, I wonder how long this has been happening and wonder what other teams may be doing this, also.

What gets me about this whole thing is, it isn't the practice that's illegal, it's the technology.

Trying to determine the other teams calls has been a part of organized sports for years. Hence the complicated slap-and-tickle from first base coaches in baseball. No one seems really upset about the Pats trying to "steal" the other teams calls so much as they are the "videotaping" portion.

It reminds me of the music industry: when people copied cassettes there was no big furor, but when people started copying CD's it suddenly became the end of everything.

The Patriots should have their Superbowls taken away and given a record of 0-96 for the last 6 seasons. Then leak news to the media that all bookies and betting parlors in Las Vegas will be refunding all losses in bets to anyone who placed them on Patriot games for the last 6 years.

Belichick Fined; Pats Lose Pick

Bill Belichick was hit with a $500,000 fine Thursday night -- the maximum allowable by NFL by-laws -- for violating the league's policy on videotaping the Jets defensive signs Sunday. In addition, Roger Goodell notified the Patriots that they would forfeit a 2008 first-round draft choice if they reach the playoffs, or second- and third-round picks if they do not qualify for the playoffs. The club was also fined $250,000.

That's about right...a precedent has now been set and it's fair...

That moron Terell Davis on the NFL Network was saying the Patriots should be banned from the playoffs for 2 years
