Nice work Beo... Do you do the artwork yourself, or do you use decals.

I used to built 1/25 scale model aircraft for some time. Eventually I ran out of places to put them so I filled them with gunpowder and petrol and went all african with them...

the decals are either the ones with kits (although not always the ones they are intended to go on ).....or like all the ones on Vix's or the license plates i make myself......special paper and an inkjet printer

Get a set of strings to slide them down then Match head bombs and paraffin for the boom!

(I blame making of Star Wars programmes)

1/ Do this outdoors, not in the greenhouse or it quickly becomes a blackhouse

2/ Stand well back unless you have thought about the words 'fuse' and 'delayed'

3/ Remember that burning plastic flies!

It was a (painful) learning experience

In the back garden, with lots of toy soldiers, minicars and my sisters dolls....

I had one of those old telephone generator things for ignition. Bury a .308 cartridge case filled with powder and the wires from the generator through the hole where the primer was.... Seal with tinfoil and place minicar or platoon of toy soldiers on top....

Pity I dont have anymore toy cars and stuff.....

Hey Spyker..... wanna see a neat trick...... just put your foot here......

I think it's common that boys want to blow things up. Many a model car and airplane went up (or down) in flames when I was a lad.

number 4.......JoyriderZ's 'GT2'.....a Porsche 911 GT2 Club Sport to exact

now this is the one that got me thinking about this whole thread in the first place.........JRZ had seen a couple of my early kits and said hed liked them so i thought i do his sig as best as poss as a surprise

thing is Teabelly's sig is a sort of photoshopped-esque interpretation of a Porsche.....i can see elements of 911 GT2/911 GT3/Boxster and even 959 in there......in the end went for a 911 GT2............from what i know of Porsches the Club Sport was the street legal version of the 'stripped out for lightness' GT2 racer

usual shot with aaa battery to give idea of scale

and one before the body shell went on

techy stuff......1/24 Tamiya Porsche 911 GT2 Club Sport.....nothing fancy....straight out of box cept i made the wheel centres gold as on the real thing instead of the all chrome on the sig....and couldnt get the correct font for the logo ......apologies for pic quality......ill be glad when i find my proper camera instead of the little olympus im using

Yet another awesome job, Beo! I think this comes closest to the phantasy Porsche in JoyZ' siggie, good choice.
