oh no need to worry.....its no biggie...........its just my own kackhandedness has slowed me down.......shells just been primed..........should get it sprayed over the weekend.........should be finished by next wednesday......

just been working on it........should be done by the weekend......maybe.....possibly......perhaps...... ............................this one has been slow going for a few reasons.......the having to buy a second kit kind of slowed me down.....doing 2 other kits at the same time does as well..............not having as much free time as i used to is another factor.....but the end is in sight

heres the next one..................

Tank's Scoobydoo

had to be a rally car.............had to be one associated with McCrae......so it just had to be a Scooby

thought it would be an idea to replace that Ford Focus with the dead engine

excuse photos......been playing around with lighting...come out a little yellow.......will do some daylight pics next weekend

as normal.....thats a aaa battery.......it measures 7cm wide by 17cm long

techy bits......airfix/heller 1/24 Subaru Impreza '01 rally car......supposed to be a Richard Burns replica but i didnt stick to that plan

.......ill be honest......absolute pain in the arse kit to work with.....had to use 2 identical kits and use the best bits of each

beo, im astounded to be included in this mighty garage!!

and it looks like classic McRae style in the fact that you had such a pain to build, as im sure his old mechanics would testify after they had to fix yet another car he smashed up!! lol

would love to replace the (nearly fixed) Focus with a McRae scooby

cant say how chuffed i am with it

i'll find some way of repaying this fine craftsmanship some day

it is proper metallic but its a water based acrylic, not enamel............easy to thin and spray, no nasty fumes....dries very quick...........fairly easy to clean the airbrush too......im totally converted to acylics now......the last few kits have been done with it
