| Goddamn melbourne train (aka connex) line just scored me a $57 parking fine.... stupid bastards can't keep a timetable, because of which i had a 20 minute delay...during the 20 minutes of my life connex gleefully stole from me, the local council took advantage of my car being parked for 4 hours and 10 minutes and a four hour zone. Its like they are deliberately taking advantage of people who already can't afford to drive on the overpirced tolways and are forced to ride the failtrain. so goddamn frustrating. /rage

| 57 dollars sounds absurd. If you overstay your parking time in germany it'S between 5 and 15 euros depending on how long the original allowance was compared to the time you took extra. Highway robbery. Is the train reliable otherwise or does it run late a lot? Over here the connex people are fairly acurate. |

| The trains are not overly reliable during the rush, however this was during the day so i had some faith. In actual fact the train was less than 5 minutes late (anything under 6 minutes they claim is on time) its just that the second train I catch leaves three minutes after the initial arrives. Its incredibly frustrating, even though I can barely afford too, I'm almost being forced to drive accross town...The worst part, in my veiw, is that compared to a lot of people in similar situations, im well off (in that I have a car and know how to drive without using the tollways). The local government is blatantly taking advantages of people who have no other option but to rely on them, its a disturbing trend in australian revenue raising I've noticed lately (they are also making it incrediably difficult for seniors with low income to survive).
