I'm sorry, but I have to get this off my chest.

I have been waiting six months to see Hancock. I am a huge Will Smith fan, and I figured it would be a great ride. Lots of CGI and smashing things.

So I go to the sneak preview tonight, the late show. I am all geeked up on popcorn and Cherry Coke. The first half of the flick is great, plenty of action and some pretty good jokes.

Then here comes the nigger shit again. Now, I'm not going to give away the plot, but suffice it to say that the movie's ending theme is state that niggers should stay away from the white women. Being a nigger, I am was none too pleased.

I am not just pissed off at the white establishment that owns the studios. The Hollywood machine has, to my knowledge, NEVER paired a Black man and white woman in a studio backed big budget movie. I expect the white establishment to do what it does, while at every turn claiming (as Lance and Anthem do on this board) that racism is a thing of the past.

I am more pissed off at the Will Smiths of the world. These fucking cowards, these nutless wonders. This is a man with more money than GOD himself. Is as famous as ANYONE in Hollywood. Yet he is terrified of touching a white woman because it might ruin his credibility with the studio. You realize that the biggest summer blockbuster star in ALL of Hollywood (smith) has never had a white leading lady? IT IS TWO THOUSAND AND EIGHT! WHAT THE FUCK?

Simply stated, white people have won the race war. They have proven, once and for all, that claiming that racism is dead and gone is the best way to continue perpetuating it. My hat is off to the racist clowns and cowardly uncle toms in Hollywood, you have officially won. Your prize? A country so afraid of it's own shadow that it voted for a president that is an international joke, supported a war based on faked evidence, and would rather see two hairy men fuck than see a pretty white girl kiss a Black man.

Don't believe me, I can prove it. I give you the film "Far From Heaven". Dennis Quaid kisses a dude, but Julianne Moore is not allowed to kiss Dennis Haysbert.

Maybe I'll move to Canada...

Indy films don't count. Movies where the Black guy doesn't get the girl in the end don't count. So no "Save the last dance" (indy) and no "Bad Boys/Pelican Brief".

Other than Harold and Kumur 1- which Harold(Korean guy) gets the girl in the end, I've never seen one American movie with a leading Asian male who gets the girl.

Next to the gays, Asian stereotype casting is probably the most used in Hollywood and most of the time it's never gets any "controversial" protests or arguments. Most get by for just used for laughs and kicks(pun intended ).

What about that so-called cultural awareness movie "Crash" where was the Asian-American representation in that flick.

That's why I prefer to watch indie flicks instead of mainstream Hollywood movies. They take more chances and risk in their films.

I do agree that there's some closet racism still going on nowadays. But I also don't let it ruin my sleep at night.

Independent films are made by artists, not the studio establishment. Again, you have yet to name a big budget studio film with a BM/WF relationship that goes anywhere. You know why? BECAUSE THERE AREN'T ANY.
