The same is true of Morgan Freeman . . . he gets lots of roles that are not written for someone who's any particular race.

So Hollywood is more open minded than you give them credit for. They're not racial pioneers, but they're not reactionaries either . . . they're businessmen, observing what the public does and doesn't pay to see, and giving them more of it.

So you don't think people would line up around the block to see an Angelina Jolie/Will Smith caper movie? Yes they would. This is not about money, that is just the lie they hide behind so they don't look like racist assholes.

In point of fact "Save the last dance" was a hit with young girls. Still is, on video. This is about the powers that be exercising their power, not about the American public "not being able to handle" BM/WF relationships.
