This is a rant that was typed at midnight after a very long day.

Now, having slept and seen sunlight, I can say with all honesty that a discussion of race based on the movies would be pointless at best.

Issue: Hollywood is perpetuating race prejudice in America.

Specifically: Making a wealth of studio backed big budget projects with white dudes fucking Black chicks, while at the same time banning Black guys from fucking white chicks. The first part would not bother me if the second part were not true.

So, the tally is now up to TWO. "US Marshalls" was indeed a studio film. The rest of Anthem's post was nonsensical, because the issue was not white guys slamming Black chicks. WE ALREADY KNOW THAT EVEN THE KLAN WAS FINE WITH THAT. The issue of race mixing always comes down to MALES OF THE OPPRESSED RACE mixing with FEMALES OF THE OPPRESSING RACE.

Remember the Crusades? Kill all the men, rape all the women. That is how you make your statement of dominance, and this is what Hollywood is attempting to do to Black and Asian men. Neutering them, for all to see, making them impotent in the face of white women while at the same time turning Black and Asian women into the white man's concubines.

How many Asian women have you seen gobbling white guy in Hollywood movies? ALL OF THEM. Now, how many Asian men getting anywhere near a white woman? Almost none. Too busy doing Kung Fu to speak American English, or fuck. The movie "The One" illustrates this perfectly. Jet Li's wife is indeed white. The relationship is supposed to be very loving. HE NEVER KISSES HIS OWN DAMN WIFE. Not even once, in the whole movie.

The proof is in the motherfucking pudding. If you can't see it, it's because you don't want to.

I am not just pissed off at the white establishment that owns the studios. The Hollywood machine has, to my knowledge, NEVER paired a Black man and white woman in a studio backed big budget movie.

The Hollywood machine is a business. It makes the movies that millions of people want to see. In order to put millions of bottoms in seats, they repeat the same storylines over and over again, repackaged slightly differently. In order to do so, they follow all sorts of stereotypes. Not admirable, but not surprising.

I don't think that they cast Latino or Asian man with a Caucasian woman often either. There's just a general rule of not having racially mixed couples on screen . . . doesn't seem to matter what the races are.

There are lots of independent and smaller films which have these couples, however. And its interesting that you take Will Smith as an example, because he's getting many "leading man" roles which once wouldn't have been offered to a black guy. The same is true of Morgan Freeman . . . he gets lots of roles that are not written for someone who's any particular race.

So Hollywood is more open minded than you give them credit for. They're not racial pioneers, but they're not reactionaries either . . . they're businessmen, observing what the public does and doesn't pay to see, and giving them more of it.
