not true! i'm 43 and had never been in love until i met the most amazing woman. she was smart,cute ,sexy and so much more. everything i wanted in a woman. she dumps me my heart is broken, never been in love blah blah blah. anyway three months later out of the blue i meet an even better one,everything the other one had but more...fuckin' amazing! we just broke up tonight and you know what....the next one is going to be better then the last two put together.

anytime you lose something you need time to heal. keep busy doing things you love,everything will remind you of her for awhile. it will take time but eventially you'll think of her less and less. try not to look at pics of her. throw them out burn them destroy them or they will destroy you. cry it helps just not in public

Im real sorry your going through this k2nj . All i can say is in time your heart will heal but until then fill your time with friends and things you always enjoyed doing alone .
Its to soon to go out and find another .. you have to heal from the last first .
Just believe it will get better .. each day it gets easier until one day its a memory .

I had a similar experience. I couldn't hold anything down for a week my guts were so wrenched from it all. But I didn't fight the feelings, I knew it would be better to just process the feelings out. write a journal, talk to a stranger who's opinion whom you can walk away from just get say it to someone. Took me a few months to really get back to normal, but it helped a lot more than keeping it all inside. And yeah, other women came in my life afterwards that helped me forget even more.

Do you have normal female friends ,ones you can just sit and talk to .. You really do need to sit and talk it out with someone close to you .
Dont hold your feelings inside either .. having a cry helps the healing process .
