Without giving too much away, it's about the oil, government, individual needs, collective needs, international polictics, domestic politics, the whole nine yards.

It's shot from various characters perspectives, so you're left to investigate and judge the whole causality aspect for yourself. So it's quite involved. You might need to watch it more than once, well, at least I will.

I don't want to give things away, but I hope I gave you the gist of it.

The point I want to make is: no matter what you politics is, you should watch this. It will make you think either way you swing (or dont).

Saw Ghost Ship last night.. Its pretty bad. The plot starts off lost and confused, then picks up to give a story line and ends before it can even get going. The way it played out was just awful. Avoid this, unless you want a crap horror to watch!

Couldn't agree more, tho the scene at the start is pretty cool and gory! But that's as far as it goes.

I followed asdfg's advice and wtached Syriana last night
(damn insomnia )

I don't know if it's a movie conclusius will like but I know I did.
Somehow it reminded me of Constant Gardener but only because
both movies show "situations of wrong in the" (excuse the english, I am
not that good at it) world and try to create awareness for these issues?
But while I think Syriana has better casting and the story is.. I don't know
"bigger"? I must say I like Constant Gardener better.
No, I am not getting into the issues at hand. Still forming an opnion
