Mad Max is a great show.

Most recent film was 'Event Horizon', say a repeat on TV last night. Not bad, chilling in parts.

Had me a double feature this afternoon. Was really surprised at "Live Free or Die Hard," what a good action movie. Over the famous top at points but bang on, right on popcorn making.

We officially have the baddest movie cop of all time and his name is John McClane and he is from NY, I thank you!!

And saw "The X-Files: I Want to Believe." I'm an X-files guy and the movie didn't really need to be made cause it was a bunch o' nada. But I liked seeing them together again. Shoulda been some kind of tv movie in a few more years, it was just a bloated episode of the series... and a lesser episode at that.

i guess thats true, watching things when they first come out must definitely be different, im too young to know

i thought maybe it would have aged better though, i hear it talked about a lot and figured i'd watch it. there was definitely some strong stuff in there though, theres nothing pleasant about having your wife and kid killed

saw Death Race last night, its perfect if all you want to see is crap blow up, not so perfect if you expect much else.

But you're right about Mad Max though, ptownstompin, it's not a good movie really. Not better than "The Road Warrior!"

Now if ya see the original Death Race, that would be interesting because "Death Race 2000" is a real cheap, low brow, low budget race car death romp of a flick with an early appearance of Sly Stallone himself that he never talks about. It's very dated from the 70's and cheesy, the new one is by the looks of it more like so many other movies that just have chases and metal and guns and explosions.

The original is a cult classic. "Long live Frankenstein!"

im a bit interested to see the old one now, at least just to try it out. one of those 70's and 80's movies that i actually love is Big Trouble in Little China, im not sure how much of the comedy in watching it is intentional but its hilarious to watch now

That's just a fun flick itself "Big Trouble in Little China." But just don't forget "cheap AND cheesy" when I spoke of the original Death Race.

Was on cable the other night and forgot what a pretty good, small crime flick "Blood and Wine" is. Not for everybody.

Not a fantastic film but certainly worthy of a watch. Now ive seen Denzel in quite a few movies now and hes just awesome, his acting skills are without question!
