Underrated actors that you like

You know who I'm talking about. Those mid-range celebs who are actually fantastic actors, but never quite get the recognition they deserve, who knows why. I'll start -

Ron Perlman. Seriously, what the fuck is with movie people? This dude is a legend. He's never been out of work, but he never really gets cast in the super high-budget mega Hollywood blockbusters. Some might argue that in a way this is a good thing, as Hollywood mostly churns out shite, but still. RECOGNISE THE PERLMAN, MO'FOCKA. He has been doing a bit better lately, but I'm not sure Hellboy counts, since he was all red and giant and shit.

Ron Perlman was in both Blade II & Alien Resurrection the where both big budget but i do agree with what you say he needs to play a few more lead roles.

I think Tom Hardy

is the best thing since sliced bread at the moment.
The only films i have seen him in is Star Trek Nemesis, RocknRolla and best of all Bronson, he was the shit in that flick a should win bucket loads of awards for his performance

Ben Stiller

Ben has an impressive resume! He's been in over 50 movies, produced or directed several more, lots of TV shows, and even parts in music videos!

And yet, he's only received one Emmy (Ben Stiller Show) and a few MTV awards.

He's a solid performer, and many of his works are cult classics. But he doesn't seem to get the recognition he deserves.

I don't know why, after all these years she's stuck in my brain, but I remember in the late 70's / Early 80's an actress who guest starred in just about every series going, but never really "made it"

How about Robert Wagner? He had suave down pat...He learnt it from Carey Grant, and I think George Clooney learnt it from Robert Wagner. Unfortunately was saddled with being in the cheezy Hart to Hart.
