Music Anyone into Psytrance???

I was curious to see if any of you out there are in to Psychedelic music...?

If its old skool Goa-trance, psytrance, Ambient, Dub or whatever....surely I can't be the only one here that enjoys psychedelic music....

Who else is out there?

I like psychedelic music but our definitions may be different...Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd come to mind..but those were artists that actually played their instruments. Most trance music I've heard were a series of electronic samples created on computer

Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Grateful Dead, Beatles, Pink Floyd....all of these artists could have been considered "psychedelic"....which back in the day had more to do with the techniques used to create the sounds....

Psychedelic music of all kinds are in debt to those names mentioned above....
Hal, I used to listen to only "real" music, and i had the attitude that anyone can make "dance" since the computer does all the work...

Since getting into psytrance, I have tried makin some of my own music (and i have failed miserably... ) where before I was an accomplished guitarist in a "rock" band...

Being at least a mediocre superpc like yourself....surely you would appreciate all the effort that goes into making music, whether it be on pc or old skool with real instruments.

Shine on you crazy diamond....

sorry man...I wasn't paying attention I gapped there for a moment, I'm back.

Yeah I know what you're saying and I'm not all old school when it comes to music.I do think it's harder to write a melody (I torture guitars sporadically) than to arrange one with pre-existing sounds or riffs.I think I'm like most where it's about how the music makes you feel.Doesn't matter to me who creates it and I think again, like most people we have different music moods on different days
