I have a theory with this, I think there are actually 13 cylon models, if you think about, there are 12 cylons for the 12 colonies, and there is a 13th colony, and the final 5 has already been to earth, so maybe theres another unknown cylon other then the 5th, maybe that 6th cylon is at earth with a massive fleet, if I remember right they say kara will lead the humans to there death and lead them to earth, so Im thinking they will get to earth and that 13th cylon will destory the fleet.
and in the miniseries, the cylon, I forget the name, but he is with adama on raganer when that small explosive, he was talking about how god decided to give souls to another creature say the cylons, and adama says, god didnt created the cylons, humans did. so Im thinking what if it was gods will for the humans to create the cylons.
so thats my theory.

I believe this is close to the resolution we may see.They keep talking about we have done this before, and will do it again.

I think Earth was inhabited by the 13th colony...they somehow blew it and now the next phase is for cylons and humans to live in harmony making all sorts of hybrid babies and dancing and being in love.

or... Starbuck will nuke the planet from orbit destroying everyone's history

the other thing I was also thinking was, how close is rdm going to go with the org series back in 78, if you remember they did find earth, you could clearly see north america and yet they were told it wasnt earth, now what if they did find earth in the new series, just not the right one.

I still remember the simulation the original cast members watched near the end of the original series.
It showed cyclon raiders flying over the Hollywood sign and blowing up some very unconvincing $1.98 Godzilla model buildings.

Then Lorne Green says in an ominous tone - this was not real...it was a computer simulation showing us what would happen if we did settle on Earth

RDM is going to put his own spin on it for sure...last half of season 4 is supposed to be very dark and not pleasant for the viewers to watch
