So what was the very first comic book you ever bought?

Mine was one of the UK editions of Secret Wars... The first American comic I bought was West Coast Avengers 10

It's hard to remember the first.

When I was a kid, my parents gave me a bunch of the old Classics Illustrated.

Mine was a Spiderman comic from when I was about 6-7 years old. All I remember about it was that it had Venom in it ..... I've looked hard for that one ever since.

Ok, question for the DC and Marvel comic super fanbois. Is there a website out there for DC and Marvel that has all the heros and villians powers listed (like how much superman can lift, how fast Quicksilver is, etc)?

Post the links if you can, I can't really find what I'm looking for, but I swear I found one for DC once.

On a crystalline afternoon waaaay back in 1975, I walked into a newsagent in my hometown and saw issues 94 and 95 of "Uncanny X-Men" sitting, waiting for me, on a comic rack. I snapped them up and began a love affair with that comic, which lasted for many years, thanks to the genius of its creative team: Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum, then Claremont and John Byrne, who, during his legendary run on the series, produced some of the greatest art ever seen in a comic.

As a weird change of pace Marvel has apparently opted to have Tony Stark, change into a transvestite robot version of Ultron.
