Avatars, open question to everyone.

So I'm new here, and noticed that everyone tends to use various bits of art or pictures of celebs for their avatars. Does anyone use a picture of themselves? I was actually going to do that myself but now I wonder if it would be insanely out of place.

So, does anyone do this or is anyone interested in a self-avatar revolution?

It depends. Some do, most don't. That proportion varies from site to site. On some boards I've found most use their own pics. On others, none at all. It all depends on your particular feelings on the idea.

"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 180 pixels or 48.8 KB (whichever is smaller)."
